In the course of time, few companies drop out of the race for their share of the market. In terms of treadmills, Vitamaster is one such treadmill. With no production of these treadmills, these are tough to find in second hand sales, let alone in sport fitness show rooms. Personally, I would advice anyone against buying a Vitamaster Treadmill, for two key reasons. The fact that these machines are no longer in production, chances is very less that you will find genuine spare parts of the same, service personnel much lesser. Inspite of knowing these two reasons, those who are still looking for a Vitamaster Treadmill, must be prepared for any sort of situation that can arise while using Vitamaster Treadmills.
Vitamaster Treadmills as such, are worthy machines. They do not cater for light trainers and working out on a Vitamaster Treadmill is all about sweating it out. A superboard equipped with PWM technology will not only increase the treadmill speed but also reduce the electricity consumption of the motor as well reduce the noise produced due to the functioning of the motor.
These treadmills can be found over the internet or as second hand products. Remanufactured or first hand products, though rare, are more preferred. Bottom line is, that you must have some sort of warranty on purchase, so as to reduce the risk of running up huge repair bills soon after buying them. That done, your purchase will be worth the price you paid. Although buying a second hand treadmill, even a Vitamaster, is not an intelligent choice, but provided the substantial low cost, it can be a good buy provided you are given some sort of warranty with it.
