This brand is designed for people looking for a good beginner level treadmill with extended motor warranties. But remember if superior quality, specs and features are important to you, then this brand is not for you. None of the models in this brand will offer them.
The Company Producing the Treadmills
HealthTrainer treadmills are produced by Keys Fitness, a company based in Garland, Texas. They’ve started manufacturing treadmills in 1997, but they were involved in the fitness industry for quite some time, manufacturing dumbbells and other strength training items.
Though they manufacture their products in the U.S., they import majority of their parts from abroad so as to remain competitive. Due to this few of their older machines had experienced few quality problems.
Currently, Keys Fitness makes at least 6 treadmill brands with each of them designed to fulfill different needs and finances. Some of these brands are: Alliance, Encore, and Ironman. It also makes Smooth treadmills (are not the owners) that are chiefly sold via the internet.
Price Range Section
Many HealthTrainers are available at $1,000 -$1,500 with just one being sold at a price of $2,000.
Weakness…
Like many other brands from Keys Fitness, the major drawback of these treadmills is the quality of their finish. They can also improve the design further.
